About Nicole
I am a mom, an artist, and a tattooist. In my professional life I’m an artist first, and tattooing is only one of my many mediums.
I’ve loved art my ENTIRE LIFE. I was the art nerd in high school, I was the kid who ate lunch in the art room. I was there EVERY waking moment I was ALLOWED to be. After high school, I continued to take fine art classes as well as started to pursue my career in tattooing.
I began my tattooing apprenticeship in 2010 while juggling a marriage, two small children, and all of life's other responsibilities. After finishing my apprenticeship in 2012 I had the opportunity to work with other local tattoo talent and worked at a few different shops I was lucky enough to call home, and in the fall of 2014 I opened up my very own shop — The Black Rose!
